Singapore-Sichuan Trade and Investment Committee Held 17th Meeting

　　On August 29th, Singapore-Sichuan Trade and Investment Committee held 17th meeting in Chengdu. Mr. Yin Li, Vice Secretary of Sichuan Provincial Committee of the CPC and Governor of Sichuan Provincial People's Government, Mr. Lim Swee Say, Minister of Manpower of Singapore, attended the meeting and delivered a speech respectively.

　　They discussed concerning how to promote the cooperation between Sichuan and Singapore to higher fields and higher level and achieve new breakthroughs and win-win situation. They thought that we should jointly seize historical opportunities, create the upgrading version of cooperation between Singapore and Sichuan, especially work hard to promote the development of Singapore-Sichuan Hi-tech Innovation Park. They should deepen opening and development, construct comprehensive cooperation new pattern, further expand cooperation fields in high technologies, modern service industries, and enhance cooperation levels in logistics, transportation, culture, tourism, education, health care, financing services, talent exchanges and so on. They should also jointly create a good environment, enhance the guaranteeing level for cooperation services, and provide better investment environment for investors to jointly create better future.

　　Since the establishment of Singapore-Sichuan Trade and Investment Committee in 1996, the cooperation fields between Sichuan and Singapore have been continuously expanded with increasing investment volumes. The cooperation projects have also been upgraded. On the meeting, they have approved 2016-2017 annual working plan and signed 15 trade and cooperation in fields including personal development, modern services, modern manufacturing, modern life and so on.

　　Mr. Zhu Hexin, Vice Governor of Sichuan Provincial People's Government and Co-Chairman of Singapore-Sichuan Trade and Investment Committee of Sichuan Part, and Mr. Ng Chee Meng, the Acting Minister For Education and the Senior Minister of State for the Ministry of Transport, and Co-Chairman of Singapore-Sichuan Trade and Investment Committee of Singapore Part, also attended the conference and delivered speeches.

　　Before the meeting, Governor Yin Li met Minister Lim Swee Say. Vice Governor Zhu Hexin was also present the meeting.
