Winners  of  2015  CHENGDU-CHINA  11th  SUN  RIVER  PRIZE  Students’  New  Music  Composition  Competition

        2015  CHENGDU-CHINA  11th  SUN  RIVER  PRIZE  Students’  New  Music  Composition  Competition,  sponsored  by  Sichuan  Conservatory  of  Music,  had  been  successfully  concluded  on  Oct.22nd,  2015.  The  Organizing  committee  received  62  pieces  from  China,  ,  South  Korea,  Italy,  UK,  The  Republic  of  Belarus,  German,  USA,  Brazil,  Taiwan,  Japan,  Thailand  and  other  countries  around  the  world.  Chen  Yi,  Renowned  Chinese  American  composer,  Member  of  the  American  Academy  of  Arts  and  Sciences,  Distinguished  Professor  of  the  University  of  Missouri-Kansas  City,  Cheungkong  Scholar  Visiting  Professor  of  the  Central  Conservatory  of  Music,  Distinguished  Visiting  Professor  of  the  Tianjin  Conservatory, 
served  as  the  chairman  of  jury.  After  the  2  selection  round  review,  6  pieces  received  the  awards  and  bonus,  the  other  6  works  enter  the  final  received  the  Honorable  mention.
